DT Gerald McCoy (Oklahoma)
A lot of talk around the media saying that Tennessee DB Eric Berry would go here. Personally, I always felt that Gerald McCoy would be the ideal pick for the Bucs. He brings toughness to the middle of a defense that has been soft at that position since Warren Sapp left. McCoy has the ability to stuff the run, as well as rush and disrupt the pass.
Why he's good for the Bucs:
With the worst rush defense in the league, the Bucs must help themselves out by drafting McCoy. This is the spot on the defensive line that makes the whole defense work. McCoy will definitely step right in and help this defense.
